The castle has fourteen stylishly furnished guest rooms with bathrooms, so that guests can feel transported back to another era; A time when hectic was uncommon and socialising was the most popular form of entertainment.
Gruszów Castle is a hotel with graceful and inviting rooms and a family atmosphere where you enjoy the kind of peace and quiet that is palpable. At the same time its location is ideal for trips to the historically famous places of the beautiful Lower Silesia.
Welcome to our house. It took us a long time to find it. We wanted a house with a history, space, in a beautiful location and with a large garden - a house with a soul. Finally, in the region of Lower Silesia, we discovered Gruszów Castle (Birkholz). It was love at first sight. Standing in the neglected front garden, looking at the run-down building, we knew we had found our special place on earth.
The renovations took 9 long years, not only due to the poor structural condition. We wanted the interiors to be restored with a lot of love for detail. Chandeliers and wallpapers from France and the Netherlands, tiles and ceramics from Italy - Everything was was chosen with care. After all, it was to become our home.

Among these rooms are 4 Standard Single rooms, 5 Premium Double rooms, 2 Apartments with antique tiled stoves as well as a 3-room Superior Apartment with a kitchenette, a day room, two bedrooms and two separate bathrooms. At Gruszów Castle, accommodation is offered with breakfast included.

ATTRACTIONS IN THE AREA
Świdnica
The former capital of the Schweidnitz-Jauer Duchy, in the Middle Ages the most powerful and richest in Silesia. It is worth visiting not only the Market Square, but also the UNESCO-listed Church of Peace and the Gothic cathedral, rebuilt in Baroque style.
Castles and palaces
Lower Silesia is a region extremely rich in monuments, especially castles and palaces. The most important sites nearby are: Książ Castle, Grodno Castle in Zagórze Śląskie, Krzyżowa Palace, Jedlinka Palace, Manor House in Piotrowice Świdnickie, Roztoka Castle.

We have a wide range of museums nearby, such as: the Museum of Old Merchants in Świdnica, the Silesian Railway Museum in Jaworzyna Śląska, the Old Mine - Science and Art Centre in Walbrzych, the Porcelain Museum in Walbrzych, the Hilbert Mill in Dzierżoniów.
For nature enthusiasts
Nature is considered the main tourist asset of Lower Silesia. It is worth going to the top of the majestic and mysterious Ślęza Mountain or to the Owl Mountains, which are famous for their beautiful landscapes and viewpoints. The Arboretum in Wojsławice is an absolutely unique place.
Sport
A stay at the Gruszów Palace is worth combining with sports activities. Nearby attractions include: a wind tunnel and parachute jumping in Mirosławice, playing golf on Gorko Golf course, MTB Trail in Sulistrowiczki, balloon flights, rafting on the Bardzki Gorge.

Lower Silesia is one of the leading wine regions in Poland. You will find eight vineyards within a 50-kilometre radius of our property; you can taste some of these local specialities in our palace bar.
