A few days ago, the Booking.com platform published the winners of the Traveller Review Awards 2024.
We are bursting with pride! We start another year of our business with an average rating of 9.8. Last season we even managed to increase our rating from the previous average of 9.7! The Traveller Review Awards is an annual programme to recognise Booking.com's booking platform partners for their hospitality, as evidenced by the ratings left by travellers after their stay.
The awards in the 12th edition of the programme are based on a pool of more than 308 million verified reviews from people who have used the Booking.com booking platform. The calculated final rating is based on an average drawn from all Guest reviews of a given property over the last three years, more precisely between 1 December 2020 and 30 November 2023.
All types of accommodation, not just hotels - from flats and holiday homes to cottages and villas - were eligible for the Traveller Review Awards 2024. In addition to partners in the accommodation category, the efforts of car rental and airport taxi service providers were also recognised.
The Traveller Review Awards aim to recognise partners who have done their best to provide guests with a memorable experience. This year, the Booking.com platform recognised a record number of partners, reflecting the high quality of hospitality services provided by service providers from around the world.
