The Emose-Karasiewicz duo is all about friendly music-making, a symbiosis of sound and spirit. They play with music and derive joy from this play. Their performances feature well-known and beloved songs in new, original arrangements. Both are admirers of beautiful melodies and interesting stories, hence the idea of making music together and sharing their passion with the audience. They will be happy to take you into the intimate world of sounds and stories that play in their hearts ♥️

Emose Katarzyna Uhunmwangho
Singer, actress, artist and teacher. In 2005, she graduated with honours from the Art School in Koszalin, where she comes from. Between 2005 and 2009, she studied acting and singing at the Grażyna and Kiejstut Bacewicz Academy of Music in Łódź. Since the beginning of her studies, she has been involved in music and the alternative scene. She collaborated with Electric Rudeboyz, was a member of the band Mikrowafle, and to this day she is a member of the bands Conga Line, Skrzypotrąby and Dziwożony - Wybudzenie. After graduating, she began working at the Capitol Music Theatre in Wrocław and has been associated with this stage to this day. She collaborates with the most outstanding directors of musical and dramatic performances in Poland. She is a frequent guest at the Actor's Song Review. She teaches singing. The artist can often be heard during monthly meetings, e.g. Antykabaret. Dobry wieczór we Wrocławiu (Good Evening in Wrocław). She directed and wrote the script and lyrics for the play ‘Czary Baltazara’ (The Spells of Baltazar) in 2021. In her free time, she does not forget about the visual arts.

She created a collection of drawings inspired by the poetry of Halina Poświatowska, for which she also directed a concert project entitled ‘Po światach. Poświatowska na głos i skrzypotrąby’ (premiered at the Lower Silesian Film Centre on 15 June 2021). Travelling through the poet's life and work, Emose talks about love and death, but above all – without any pathos – about the need to enjoy the life we have been given. She created the covers for the album ‘Błędne Koło’ – Paśko and the Co To and Nie Ma bands. Osiecka/Satanowski – Justyna Szafran and a collection of works by Mock. Czarna Burleska – extraordinary portraits of characters appearing in the play directed by Konrad Imiela, which premiered in 2019 at the Capitol.
She created a collection of images for the intergenerational women's project ‘Dziwożony-Wybudzenie’ (Dziwożony-Awakening), for which she also wrote the lyrics and Ewa Głowacka-Fierek composed the music. The premiere of this theatrical and musical event took place at this year's 43rd PPA.
Opowieści Czarnej Kaski is also a compilation of paintings and music, accompanied by Rafał Karasiewicz and Łukasz Olejnik. Recently, she has been successfully working on the Lady Em project with the Bryndal brothers. Rafał Bryndal writes the lyrics, and Jacek Bryndal composes the music.
